Schedule a Call
Sometimes the fastest way to solve a website problem is simply to sit down, talk through what is happening, and look at the site together. Valhalla Computers offers one-on-one website review and troubleshooting consultations for small-business owners who want clear answers without the technical runaround.
What Happens During a Consultation?
We begin by listening. Tell us what concerns you, what you have noticed, what has already been changed, and what you are trying to accomplish. From there, we can review the website together and investigate the areas that matter most.
Depending on the situation, a consultation may include reviewing navigation, customer experience, website wording, technical problems, search-engine issues, legacy content, ecommerce behavior, mobile usability, conversion problems, or other concerns that become apparent while we work through the site.
We may click through the site exactly as a potential customer would, examine technical information, research unfamiliar issues, compare what the site is supposed to be doing with what it is actually doing, and point out problems that may not have been obvious before.
Most importantly, we explain what we find in ordinary language. You should leave the conversation understanding what the problem is, why it matters, and what your realistic options are.
Consultation Rates
Website Review & Consultation — $200 per hour
The first hour is $200. If additional time is needed, consultations may continue in 30-minute increments at $100 per half hour.
We will not simply allow a conversation to continue indefinitely and surprise you with a bill afterward. If the session needs to run longer than originally scheduled, we will let you know and you can decide whether continuing makes sense.
Quick Discovery Call — No Charge
Not sure whether you need a consultation? A brief discovery call of up to 15 minutes is available at no charge. This gives us enough time to understand the general problem and determine whether Valhalla Computers is likely to be able to help.
The discovery call is intended for introductions and determining the appropriate next step. Detailed website auditing, troubleshooting, research, and technical review are part of the paid consultation.
What You Can Expect
Someone Who Listens
We begin with what you are experiencing instead of assuming we already know the problem.
A Real Website Review
We do not simply glance at the homepage. When appropriate, we follow links, test the customer experience, inspect technical details, and investigate what is actually happening.
Plain-English Answers
Technical jargon is useful between technicians. It is not useful when it prevents a business owner from understanding their own website. We explain what we find in terms that make sense.
Practical Priorities
Not every issue deserves immediate attention. We help identify what should be fixed first, what can wait, and what may not be worth spending money on at all.
Independent Perspective
Sometimes you simply need another experienced set of eyes. We can review what you have been told, compare it with what we actually see, and help you understand your options.
No Automatic Sales Pitch
A consultation does not automatically end with a recommendation for a new website, new subscription, or expensive project. Sometimes the correct answer is much simpler.
What a Consultation Does Not Automatically Include
Consultation time is primarily for investigation, discussion, troubleshooting, and recommendations. Hands-on website changes, programming, content creation, migrations, repairs, or other implementation work are not automatically included unless specifically agreed upon during the session.
If additional work is recommended, we can discuss the scope and cost before anything is done.
Ready to Talk?
Schedule a free 30-minute website consultation with Valhalla Computers. Tell us what concerns you about your website, what you are trying to accomplish, or what simply doesn’t seem to be working correctly. We’ll take an initial look, discuss what we see, answer your questions, and help you determine the most sensible next step. This consultation is intended for initial review and guidance; extensive auditing, research, troubleshooting, or hands-on website work may require a separate paid consultation or project quote.
